Each camper has their own unique story. Here is what they say:
-We love coming to camp! It is the highlight of our year!
-The best part about camp is that we feel normal and part of a community. The volunteers and staff are concerned with our individual needs. It was awesome having help all weekend!
-We wouldn't have been able to come to camp without the financial assistance. It was a life changing weekend and our family is better for having attended.
-The camp gave me the emotional space that I so needed to work through some of the frustration I felt around my husband's stroke. I made a lot of progress over the weekend, and am continuing to work through. This camp jumpstarted my progress.
-As a teenager, the family Stroke Camp meant so much to me because I had a chance for the first time ever to talk about how my mom's stroke impacted me. My friends don't understand, but my Stroke Camp family does.
